Overview

Activist were commissioned at short notice by CILIP to carry out a high-level evaluation of its Green Libraries Partnership project. Working at pace to an urgent deadline, our analysis focused on the Partnership as a library sector programme of research, innovation, capacity building and advocacy, drawing on our experience of the comparable programmes to date.

How we helped.

Our work involved a detailed analysis of the project’s deliverables and objectives; detailed engagement with key project stakeholders, analysis of our findings, and presentation of our observations in a final evaluation report. Our report was structured around each of the programme workstreams, before we reviewed the project’s outputs against the success measures, presenting a range of evidence from the data collected including observations by individuals (anonymised), our key findings, and a set of recommendations for each workstream area to be considered for the future development of the programme.
