Overview

Activist were commissioned to conduct a feasibility study and option appraisal to identify the benefits of formalising international working as a long-term programme of activity. This involved exploring the opportunities for developing a more international mind-set, building on existing good practice, encouraging service innovation at home, building professional skills and promoting globally the dynamism, creativity and values of the UK library community, as well as being recognised as a major aspect of the UK’s ‘soft power’.
