Activist undertook a fundamental review of Haringey Council’s library network. This included a review of the strategic needs, assets and operational efficiency of the service.

How we helped.

We designed and delivered an extensive public engagement exercise, including workshops with friends’ groups, surveys and focus groups with users and non-users, as well as workshops with staff and managers and interviews with the Council’s cabinet portfolio holders and chief executive. We created a new vision for the service and an operating model for an updated network of libraries acting as community hubs, together with an investment programme which was agreed, with funding subsequently approved by the Cabinet.
